Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PrayerMax mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
PrayerMax helps you limit your use of selected apps on your device. When you attempt to open an app you have chosen to block, PrayerMax invites you to complete a prayer or listen to a Bible story before the app unlocks for a limited time. The Service depends on operating system features (such as Apple Screen Time and Android usage access) whose behavior is controlled by the platform vendor; we cannot guarantee that blocking works identically on every device or software version.
2. Subscriptions
PrayerMax offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("PrayerMax Pro") that unlocks additional features, including blocking more than one app, the full content library, and personally generated prayers. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
3. Fair use of AI prayers
Personally generated prayers are limited to a reasonable daily amount (currently 10 per day). Generated content is produced by an automated system and is offered as a devotional aid, not as pastoral, medical, or professional advice.
4. Emergency access
PrayerMax includes an emergency access feature that temporarily unlocks blocked apps without prayer. You are responsible for configuring blocking in a way that does not interfere with access to essential services (navigation, banking, emergency communication).
5. Content
Prayers, Bible stories, artwork, and audio in the Service are owned by or licensed to PrayerMax and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent its technical measures, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it in violation of applicable law.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrayerMax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed notifications, unavailable apps, or interruptions caused by platform restrictions.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
