Privacy Policy

PrayerMax is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no email addresses, and no passwords.

1. What we don't collect

Your list of blocked apps and your app usage never leave your device. On iOS, app blocking runs through Apple's Screen Time framework, which by design does not reveal to us which apps you selected or when you use them. On Android, the blocked-app list is stored only on your device. We do not track your browsing, your location, or your contacts.

2. What we do process

Anonymous identifier. The app generates an anonymous identifier through RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. It is not linked to your name or email and is used solely to associate your subscription with your device and to apply fair-use limits.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google; we receive subscription status (not your payment details) via RevenueCat.

Prayer intentions. If you use personally generated prayers, the text you optionally write is sent to our server and to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the prayer. Intentions are processed to produce the response and are not used to build a profile about you. Do not include information you wish to keep entirely private.

3. Service providers

RevenueCat (subscriptions), Cloudflare (server infrastructure and content delivery), OpenAI (prayer generation), Apple and Google (payments and distribution). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

4. Data retention and deletion

Rate-limit counters expire automatically within days. Prayer intentions are not stored by our server after the prayer is generated. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To request deletion of subscription-related records, contact us with your anonymous app user ID (shown in Settings).

5. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page.
